Peach, Chocolate Brownies and a cold day in August

Peach, Chocolate Brownies – Brownies al Cioccolato & Pesca

Music: Cold Day In July, The Dixie Chicks. This summer was a cold one in Versilia, Tuscany, where we always spend holidays, so we had most afternoons wearing pullovers on the beach, drinking tea and eating brownies. This is the perfect treat for when you feel like lying in the sun, but walk to the window and… oops! It’s a cold day in August.


200 gr Amedei dark chocolate

200 gr butter

200 gr brown cane sugar

3 eggs

170 gr flour

1/4 tsp baking powder

20 gr cocoa powder

1 peach, diced

Melt butter and chocolate together, and let cool a little. Pour this mixture into a large bowl, and add flour, baking powder and cocoa powder. Beat well. Pour the batter into the pan and top with diced peach. Bake in a 180°C oven for 35/40 minutes.
